Yes ther is a scab by that rear glass, i am sure it is not inner corrosion but i need to take the whole glass fitting out to be sure, summer job at the moment i keep that bit oiled.

Its a lovely car! Make sure your wheelarches are spotlessly clean with no. and I mean nil, muud and dirt to stop that rot! Keep it as it is, it's a survivor!

Gear oil and spray oil keeps the underside in good shape.

I will upload some more pictures tomorrow, there is some bodywork to be done but at the moment it is dry stored and oiled. The wife keeps asking "when am i going to get to use it" she has a 89 525 at the moment, so both in use would be greedy.

Really sweet looking chrmie you have there,

I have a Tech 1 Sport that had a spot of rust under the rear window, my friendly welder blokey was able to fix it in no time :)

Thaks, that bit by the rear window is still firm to press which make me think the damp somehow got under the primer and not inside, i hope it is not too serious but i will not know until the glass has been removed.
