MY K REG CAB and M3 REP projects -updated 05/10 - pg 12

[FMH]

This is the e30 cab i brought from the con man up in bradford who Rav won the wings from but he didn't give them.

I brought it as a shell, around 4-5 months ago. Apparently the engine has gone, but i do suspect some wiring fault, but for the price i paid, its not a major issue.

The shell is clean, no rust etc. Was imported in 2001, had 1 UK owner, all previous MOT's, showing 78k on the clock, supported by MOT mileage records.

The pics might show its a major project, but i don't think it will be once i get the time, i have got all the parts ready, just a matter of putting it back together.

M-Tech 2 kit.
M-Tech 1 boot spoiler.
Red roof.
Red leathers.
Red carpet.
5 stud conversion.
Style 5 wheels (gold centres, polished lip)
Full respray in the new BMW white.
Lower all around.
Engine conversion (not yet decided)

LOL, nothing to hide and i'm not looking to sell it even when its finished. Put it this way, its costing me less than £500 with all standard body panels purchased.

got the V5 in my name before i started buying parts, it does show as a convertible, not a touring, lol. Around 5 previous MOT's. Got the keys with it.



The MOT's and MOT info, show that the car was driven aprox 2k each year. I've wrote to the guy in Glasgow asking for more info on this car, so i await his response.

FMH nice cant wait to see it finished just ABIT of advice not that you might want it but yeah erm RED leathers every tom dik & harry has them put some other colour leather in there ..no offence to anyone its just bin done way to many times i think ..more pictures PLEASE =D

Yeh, i only go foleshill to eat, if i'm in birmingham, its either sparkhill, alum rock or aston. Will look out for your e30 now that i know where about you are

Will get some pics as i get along, hopefully this weekend. As for leathers, I get what you mean, everyone is dying their leathers red, it is getting common, but i think the red and white combination, should pull it off.

Hmm thats TRUE but i guess if you want your car to stand out then dont do RED lol do YELLOW ? lol or even PINK i say HA HA ( had abit to drink ) but yeah red for me is like wearing same clothes as every one else try biscuit colour ? that will look nice or tan brown colour will look nice as well ..

I'm going for a dark red, not the shocking red a few zoners have done

Thats just bin done a few days back lol this guy got a black cab he done it i think lol looks nice though just have white stiching or something bright

Just a little update, fitted the wings, bonnet, bootlid, not alligned them 100%, just wanted them on the car, to avoid kicking them around:





Plans for next week, fit the rear m-tech 2 bumper, sort the carpet, and fix as much of the interior trim back, allign bonnet,wings,bootlid etc. Possibly start the 5 stud conversion

It won't look as good in silver. Pearlescent White is the way forward

The white shows off the lines and details way more than silver. Also white will combine better with the rest i have planned

Theres not many e30's in Coventry, only the odd banger being used cause it still runs.
