What shade of red is the new colour? The car looks pure class mate. :thumb:

I'm gonna be doin' rear arches and scuttle panel on mine in the near future so gonna get a full respray but was unsure what shade of red to do it in - after seeing your car I know what I want the colour to be.

Mate

Looking at the first set of pics I couldn't see the need for the respray.

Anyway, credit to you for doing the job properly. Your car is gonna look amazing.

I have a 325iSport in Brilliant Red. The paint will get tired and lose it's gloss as it is not garaged. My plan then is to do exactly as you have done. Back to basics, kit off and a full-on makeover in the right colour.

Put some pics up when it's finished.

She was not in bad shape man but there were a few things that I wasnÔš't happy with like dents and stuff on the doors, the lacquer was coming off the wing mirrors and around the windows because the last time she got a re-spray the windows where just taped up and not removed and the bonnet and boot lid the list goes on lol

The only way to do it is to strip it right down, all the kit off and windows out :D

i'll post pic's up when she's all finsihed, cant wait now :D :D :D

Well I told Dessie to go ahead and get me one so by the time I come home from holiday on the 11th Sept it'll be resting in his garage waiting for me to pick it up, unfortunately he goes away for a week on the day I come back  so I'm aiming for around the end of September at the latest! I also need to get my car sold while I'm away so if you know anyone looking a 97 VTR Saxo in MINT condition point them my way!
