Hi My name is Morten C and i have owned my e30 for about 3 years now. I come from Denmark.
Here are some spec:
M50B20 Original M20b20
Ligthen flywheel
E30 Getrag 240
S4.10 Diff but have a S3.64 that is going on.
Full E30 325 exhaust with Eissenmann backend.
Battery relocated to trunk.
Clear turnlights
Clear headlights with hmm rings
Red and clear backlights
Aftermarket sunroof
Full Zender skirts
M3 mirrors
Wheels Borbet T 7,5x16 og 9x16
lowered
Electronik windows
Cruise control
full E36 Servo stering.
Leather seats.

good looking car but why did you go for a 2l m50 and not a 2.5 m50

Funny in e30tec they asked the same.
Thats because here in denmark we may only upgrade an engine 20% otherwise it elegal. 129hp x 20% = 154.8hp is the max in a 320i.

Could you not have had the bore honed out too 84mm ang used a 2.8 crank like dan has and the motor would would still be numbered up as a m50 b20 but have the performance of an m52b28?

I could but if i did that and then have an acident and the insurence company found out they will not cover it because its eligal.

Regarding the laws, if you started off with a 325i, you clould do a lot more work to it despite having essentially the same components throughout the rest of the car? seems a shame to have such a silly law.

i bet the M50B20 goes a lot better than a M20B20 though :D
