High backs! Sold?!
Nice did you win them on ebay last week? Saw some the same from a tegy go for £420 neary bid but got my evo7 ones instead. What runners did you use?

Also are they the e30 belt clips? Ive used them but they sit alittle higher than they used to.

Ah.. Whoops, cheers!.. Well in that case I sold my genuine e30 recaro'sharry_p wrote:the ones you have now are PROPER recaro highbacks![]()
awesome seats, and fitted to some fantastc cars over the years!
They are pretty nice, option of making them heated as well if I wanted to, but seems like a lot of hassle
Actually they are Recaro Speeds.harry_p wrote:the ones you have now are PROPER recaro highbacks![]()

yep, but they have a highback unlike the normal e30 recaros which are just recaros which happen to have a slightly higher back than the non recaro standard e30 seats.
it comes from the lancia forums where they all have 'normal' recaros as standard, but the evo2s had the 'highback' recaro speeds as in the back is high as it's also the headrest.

Dont supose you have a pic/part number from the runners do you?
i've had to make some adaptor runners to fit the evo runners in t othe e30.
My runner

Unfortualty mine are 4door ones but it doesnt realy matter as they move forward and move tilt forward enough to get in the back.
Are yours two door ones? do they tilt on the seat or the subframe??

Jhonno, I think your old seats were nicer mate.
Nice to meet you and Uwe the other day, and your car sounded sweet as you pulled away.

I was counting and to get mines in order I needed to spend almost 800 EUR which is too much...so I decided to sell them and find new ones...ofcourse I had luck...leather ones from 1987. 325's with only 55k miles...like new
I am pleased, very

Dan you utter utter raving homo! You knew I was looking for a tidy cloth interior and have more than two pennies to spend!
Looks mucking fega! Just need some alcantara gaiters to finish it off. (Funnily enough I have just fitted a set to El Turdos.)

velvet seats are a bit pimpy though Jhonno, you got to admit, in the 80's it was the choice of fags and hookers, what you need is some snazy 80's, Tom Selek styled, Chic...

much better than genuine recaros though i must admit, and I am just shy of the roof in teh sport with the recaro's, but the S50 with the ones above i have about an inch and a half of headroom
yours look in good nick thouogh, where did you get them from

Well that's fair enough mate. I'm sure your new seats look nice. I just personally prefer sports seats over comfort seats every time. Each to their own though. Well done finding a mint set of seats.cro320 wrote:yep mate, I know it sounds wicked but over here it's impossible to find any kind of E30 seats in top condition...Phatz wrote:cro320 wrote:I sold mine highback's also![]()

absolutely...sport seats are must have but I prefer leather ones and those are absolute no chance to find...these comforts are gorgeous, not a single rip or wear, minty mint, also rear headrests included...will post some pics in my car threadPhatz wrote:Well that's fair enough mate. My brother took the Recaro SR's out of his E36 when he sold it and now has made a frame for them to sit on in his room!
