It's been in my garage for a year, finally got it running, taxed & tested and I love it again, great driver, very responsive.
I've just put some new Revolution Milleniums on, I bought them new for a RWD Challenge car I was building but I've since sold the rally car so I thought I'd try them on my road car, what's the verdict???

Looks like a nice original car. 1 question, how come the aerial's on the roof and not by the boot?

It is pretty much original apart from the wheels and the momo, although I have the original 15" BBS' and a Tech 1 steering wheel to put back on if I get bored, don't know why the aerial is on the roof, it came to me like that and it is a BMW aerial as the mount has the roundel on it.

I have seen on other cars that the electric aerials are on the rear nearside wing, perhaps it was an option?

If it was a touring they did a good job converting it, you can't see the joins, however what is interesting me is the boot lid is dechromed, no badging, did BMW have a dechrome option back in 1991?

Adi; the road is nice but it's also a 20mph limit.

Thanks for comments guys.

Not sure if the aerial on the rear wing was an option, i've always known them to be there on saloons/coupes but on the roof on tourings

Yes, the buyer could specify if they didn't want the boot badge - the spec. sheet for mine says that it was requested not to be there, yours may too.

Nice car :thumb:

ah, that explains the sub 5 sec 0 - 60 (in my dreams).

I wondered if the roof aerial was an option, I appreciate the wing mounted ones were standard, but thanks for clearing up the dechrome option?

cheers

Look very nice mate, not 100% sure on the wheels but they are different and make the car stand out.

Nice clean looking car.

Can't believe you have had it in a garage for a year!:x

I was building a rally car so that took priority, I didn't even have time to put fuel injection on my Sebring MG BGT V8, need to get that done next, now the rally car is out of the way.

re: wheels. I'm getting mixed responses, at the moment, the Revos are ahead so I'll keep them on for the time being.

cheers
