It,s not completely connected up yet Cliffy.
Never had any dyno before it was fitted, so even if i get it RR,ed now
it would be inconclusive. Your,e right on the shiny though. :)

They do Si. Trouble is. where i live the road has a very pronounced slope. Which makes it very difficult to
get the car jacked up and stable enough to work safely. After i pulled the touring off the axle stands, and down onto my chest, i,m very wary of working underneath any car.
Much sooner let a exhaust place complete the job, only 5 mins work, than risk it again.

Definitely looks cool, Shame about you not having it RR'ed before as it would've been interesting to see if it gives any gains.

I wanted one of these to add to the full scorpion exhaust i have on my touring...would be interested to see what sort of difference it makes to the exhaust note.

Thanks for all the kind words about the engine bay. :) Things not entirely panning out as i hoped though, rang a few local exhaust fitters today, with a veiw to completely connecting it up. However not one of them will entertain
me as they did,nt sell me the exhaust. :( It,s literally a 5min job, for which i am/was willing to pay for.
Got to ring a local garage back tomorrow morning to see if they can fit me in tomorrow evening.
I swear the first thing i do when i eventually move , is to dig a proper inspection pit.
In the meantime, i could,nt resist making an audio recording of how it sounds atm.
Like a bag of spanners. :) Image

Remember it well!! I had entertained thoughts of driving up to Longlife at Leeds for a stainless system after I had fitted my manifold,I doubt I would have got out of the city without being pulled :D Can you not even get your car up onto DiY type ramps?

Have had it jacked up, with two spare wheels underneath it on either
side, but because of the slope and camber out side, it still does,nt feel
safe. Just had a thought though, workmate of mine drives an HGV with
a 5.5 tonne hiab, if i can work out how to sling the car, job,s a good un.

Use both engine lifting eyes, but you are STILL going under a suspended load... l/h wheels on the curb, jack the r/h side, chock the l/h wheels?Once it's high enough use an axle stand or two? Nowhere nearby that's reasonable level?

Surely 1 of these places that make up these Micky Mouse ish (custom?) exhausts would fit it up to fit your existing exhaust? Which is what by the way?
