Starting with something like this

and ending up with something like this


My wrist was very sore
The inlet manifold still looks scruffy so that's out of shot. I have been convinced not to polish this up but to keep the casting marks and perhaps paint it.

Cliffybabe yours looks awesome and similar to what I will be aiming towards. I recently aquired a set of the same samco hoses (Cheers Zaust) so that made me decide to aim for a blue & chrome theme. Is your rocker cover chromed and if so do you know whether the heat from the engine discolours?
Here is what I am starting with. Work starts early January....

the rocker is highly polished not chrome

both polished dude, got he guy in my sig to do it, although any machine shop should be able to do it
