1989 318i 2door

This is my 89 318i, its a poverty edition with no pas or abs or elec windows (best way, less to go wrong!) Its my first E30, i bought as a sick car off a friend as it was losing compression on 3rd and 4th cylinders, he thought it was the engine that had died but i thought it was head gasket, luckily i was right! It had a new cam, rockers etc fitted after i got the head back from skimming as it was scored!
Its fitted with a scorpion b/box which isn't too noisy and helps to make it sound a bit deeper, its also been lowered but i'm probably changing to a full set off billies as it currently too soft for the rideheight! its also fitted with a set of 15'' bbs's, an angeleye conversion and an m-tec spoiler which all came on the car!
Plans for the future are:
-2xnew wings and a full spray (getting it waxoyled @the same time)
-Cat 1 alarm
-Bilstein suspension kit
-M steering wheel
-Leather interior

I expected a 318 to be a bit slow as i was used to a tuned mk2 golf gti 16v but ive been pleasantly suprised!

Its a bit mucky in the pics but spent the weekend hooning around in it!

That was all it was gonna be used as, just a daily driver, then the bug caught on, gonna get rid of all the little bits that are starting to go, tidy the interior with a set of recaros etc etc, drove it today when it started snowing, very fun!

Its off to the bodyshop on thurs now, 2x new genuine wings, and a full spray(inc inner wings and front panel)! also bought a set of 17'' OZ superleggaras in dark grey which ive tried on it and i think they really suit it. Going to be fitting lowered 325suspension and 325brakes all round when it comes back, anyone got any of those bits listed for sale in my area????? - Cheers - Nick
