Hi,

Polished her up at the weekend, so I thought I'd show off a few photos of my money pit, I mean E30. It's a 325i Motorsport Edition - one of 40 sold in 1988. I bought it at the end of May and while it's required a bit of mechanical and cosmetic work the main thing is apart from a small spot on a door it's almost completely rust free. It's the second E30 I've owned the first being a black 320i which I sold about 7 years ago due to the amount of rust it had accumulated. My plan is to get it looking as nice and original as possible, however I've spent enough on her for now so I'll probably just enjoy the rest of the summer topless and worry about further improvements next year.

Now thats NICE. And good to hear it's not going to be molested either. I do love a tech 1 motorsport convertible.

Very nice indeed, must be very rare in that condition now.
I know many owners butcher them to fit tech 2 kits.
A manual?.

Cheers Gareth

Nice!!! Those cabs are well rare, near enough every motorsport you see about is either tech1 or tech 2
