Hi,

Just a few lines to introduce myself. I'm Myke and i'm the very proud owner of a F-plate Series 2 318i Coupe with a few minor mods and a lot of TLC required!!

:D

Still, I wanted a project and that's what i've got, and i'm WELL chuffed. You lot seem like a nice bunch and the forum's already been a great help.

Here's my E30 just as I picked her up. More to follow.

Stevo: Yea, I agree. I did like them to start with, what with the chrome surrounds to the glass and the grill, wheels etc, kinda felt really 'Gangster-ish', ha ha but the theme and my overall look has now changed so I'm pretty sure they'll be coming off. I think they're only stuck on with double sided tape, but still, I'm a bit apprehensive about taking them off because of what I might find underneath. Arches look in good nic form the inside though.

She's got a fair bit of lovin' to be had though an she'll be r'ate. Other mods are the cream and green-piped MTech interior, the 17" ACE alloys which I am thinking of colour coding the centres, or going anthrecite, and the lowered springs and a Scorpion system which is banging on the rear beam at the mo (I think!), oh and an MTech steering wheel and gator. Lovely.

Happy as a pig in sh1t

Very nice, your half way there already;

Diamond Black by the look of the pics
Sport leather retrimed seats with center rear arm rest + rear head rests
Mtec1 boot lid spoiler (Keep hold of this until the death!)
Lowered on 17" alloys

Excellent for a starter package, hope to see you on here more + welcome to the Zone.

Neil.

Nice 1 Neil, very VERY close.

Malachite Green Metallic??? apparantly, no center arm rest. Like I said, close :)

I love it to bits as I'm used to 'old' cars, but the ticking when it's running is annoying me now! It doesn't do it in 5th, or overrun, well it dies out on overrun after a couple of seconds, but that is about it. I dunno.

Anyhow, I really do have to loose the chrome arch extentions, and the chrome around the grill and windows [sorry Cliffy], oh and if anyone wants some green illuminated windscreen washers, well, they're a fiver.

Cheers peeps.

Looks cool, my wife (Weezie on here) had a tec1 Baur convertable in Malachite Green, best looking motor we've owned out of probably 20+ E30's now. You have got a center armrest in the rear seat, grab the horizontal strap and pull
