I've got the paint to do mine, how many layers of paint did you put on to keep them flashing orange?

when i did mine, i did it so that when looking straight on they are red but at an angle they look orange as per the proper mhw ones.

you can see the orange peel in the indicator from that pic.

Have you lacquered them too?

GIve them a wet sand with some very fine wet & dry paper and then give them a polish.
