spook - its not henna red but its a coont to photograph. Forgive me if im being abit :gay: about photography here but no matter how red the car looks, it sometimes comes out looking like henna - especially depending on the white balance (in the first picture its abit off)

Its brilliant red btw.

The first two pictures have that orangeness flavour, which like you say looks like Henna.

Henna/Red your car looks spot on, whats next to do?.

fix the fooking wheel bearing becuase its driving me insane!!!

its booked for the vanos seals to be done next week, and hes going to look at the wheel bearings. I've then got my mot, so i need to sort the headlights out and it should be good to go.

Then m50 inlet, bilstein dampers, h&r springs and e90 drophats.

jobs a gooden (for about a week :chuckle:)

Quoting for the non believers :)

I did the seals on an E46 and the guy said it was like having a re-map, the difference is in the lower part of the rev range, especially on the twin vanos engines.

Well done Paul :D

the 2nd of october

I didnt think the vanos seals were too bad on this engine but i thought for the sake of a few hours labour from the bmw specialist its something worth doing - im glad i did :D

Thanks mr danthe for supplying me with the seals at cheaper than ebay prices :thumb:

Yeah this prop is doing my feckin nut in.

Basically (deep breath) Prop bearing was whining so we changed the bearing + carrier. The line on the two halves of the prop dont line up properly becuase its between the teeth (the orignal factory mark from bmw this is!). Lined it up, pre-loaded the bearing and im getting a vibration. Took it all out again today and went to the other side of the mark on the prop, again preloaded bearing and again - im getting vibration at about 20-30mph!

I never got it until last week when we changed the bearing :screwy:
