What are banded steelies? there was a artical in ppc about how to make your own but then they never ran it??? :?

Stunner, tec 1 spoiler and red lenses are a nice touch.
Love the euro look, theres too many oem cars on here!
You have the same taste as me, you must be into the Golf scene as well.
Do you get pulled for the tinted plates? thinking about getting some...

lol yeah i was previously a vee dubber but moved on. I've not been pulled for plates yet but if i do ill just deny knowledge knowing they were tinted winkeye

I think 10j will be a bit ovakill unless you are not lowering it by much or unless your having arch work done.

im intending on some nice flare on the arches. but ive had a look and even a 3 inch band on the standard steels will stick out the arch by about 2 inches or so.

do you know what offset your wheels were before they were banded???

I think they were et49. My wheels have 2.5 band on front and 3" on rear

Wheels were 6.5 x 16 i think, spacers has become an issue for me, the wheels hit the front strut even with a 5mm spacer, they need to be spaced atleast 10mm to clear safely but then the wheel sticks out too much.

You wouldn't know if the wheels you used where hubcentric or lugcentric?
