Good for you for daring to be (very) different! Love the colour, and the interior is rad, also the lambo doors - way cool. I think maybe you need some extra skirts in the middle to fill it out a bit to match the arches though - or how about a nice set of mudflaps to complete the rally stylee

Something like the DTM box arches may look cool.

Have to admit it looks better in theses pics, the dash and interior look great.

Hello mate,

Thumbs up for having the balls to carry out such crazy interior mods and the work you have put into it.

Personally i am more of a standard e30 man, and i am not sure about some of your mods as they are not to my personal taste.

But hey we are all individuals with differing tastes.

Those dual tri firing rear rocket launchers look fun too.

All the best.

Hmmm... Thought it looked terrible from the first pics (sorry!), but it's a lot better now...

Interior's mental. How much shmeggin work?! :D

IMHO, there's too many things going on if you get what I mean? I'd change the white lighting for smoked, & blacken all the chrome & mesh.

& those arches need wider (probably smaller dia) wheels - some 16s with a big dish would work.

But it's your car, who gives a toss what I think?!

I think the biggest problem with this place is that a lot of people dont have any idea of the amount of work and effort needed to make a show car. I dont have the physical skill to do a lot of the work done on my car so i've had to take it to professionals to be done, but i've known exactly what i wanted and how i wanted it to look and i've been there many a day and night when the professionals have struggled with the mods they had to do.

Yes the car may not be to everyones taste, and no car will ever be. Hell i'd take a Lamborghini and change things about it and that's the ultimate car for me, so if nothing at all, al least give the man credit for spending many years of his spare time doing something different and just open your minds and broaden your horizon. Even the standard E30's many of you drive today would not be here today and we'd all be still driving around in steam powered crap 1830's cars had people just followed the trend and dared not to be different. That's all i'm really saying on the subject.

That's total bullshit I'm afraid. Styling is NOT like fashion. Styling is either right and wrong. There are design rules. People study art and design for many years to learn them. Sometimes they are broken and innovation is the result. But it takes talent, years of study and refinement. Unless you don't give a shit about something that 'works' then do whatever you want - in which case, don't open your creation up to judgement by asking what poeple think.

People have to learn that there are WRONG mods. WORNG! We can pussy foot all day about being nice and bla bla bla but the car is vile and that's a FACT.

Now, I can respect the guy's ability and effort - I could not do what he did.

But people need to stop with all this righteous moral bull and call a nasty car a nasty car.

C'mon bud. The point isn't really about an individuals rights and all that matters is the owener etc. We don't care do we?

if you youre car gets this much attention its gotta be a good thing. whether people like it or not it stands out by a mile.
its when no one gives any comments that you need to be bothered.

to be fair styling is like a fashion in a way that trends come and go, i.e 3 spokes (apparently they were all the rage!) and things like that. Mods in the car world die out very quickly so its not easy to keep up.

I like the car buddy! I recently had my beemer resprayed and helped the spray bloke out by doing all of the prep work etc, and i was shocked at how much work i had to put in to get it how i wanted it. (four weeks) (I have to admitt i did keep the colour original, but did get some house of kolour rainbow metal flake added as a subtle touch)
Now i will do all of the work on my car if i'm able, because theres nothing quite like the satisfaction when its all done. Just in the process of hand polishing the thermostat housing, rocker cover is done, throttle body next.

Keep it up mate, Guy.

To spend hours and hours modifying, and thousands and thousands on modifying...only to make it look worse (in 95% of peoples eyes) than standard is the reason why people have a right to express there negative comments.

You stick something like this on a public forum, you'll get comments from both sides. If you don't like it, don't post it in the first place.

I think they guy has amazing talent for what he does - I really do. Now if he could just find some taste he'll be set for life. Although, the black one looked cool on those rims.

On the negative I'm not a fan of the arches (a bit too blocky for my taste) or the double m3 side grills. But on the positive I think the interior looks fantastic especially if you did it yourself. What did you do it with, fibreglass or two part construction foam?

Good luck with any future mods you carry out!

8O  Thats nasty. None of the mod's you've done work together. Wide arches when you dont need them, but no side skirts. Black grill and silver mesh, teh interior, while well made, really doesnt work with the car.

two years wasted in my humble opinion. All these people who 'respect the effort and hard work thats gone into it' are being poilte, what they really mean is they think its looks like a heap of crap but they're sitting on the fence.

Also, good luck getting that into max power or fast car. Its not jap, a saxo, or has silly power. Its also not that well made, they may like outrageous cars in those magazines, but they like well made ones where the styling works together as a theme, not just bits and bobs thrown together.

Sorry to be harsh, just being honest.

Definately different, a tad over the top with the arches, but hey who cares it's an E30 and thats all that matters.

It's people like kingcruizer that are keeping the E30 in the modifing mags after 25 years not many other cars out there still being used and abused like the E30.
