That is epic. Would be difficult to convey just how nice your car looks and how much I admire your restoration.
Thank you for putting another one on the road.

God you have patience, top attention to detail
I'll check with the manager
Thanks very much mate. I put the bottles in the dish washer. Works a treat!!Alpina99 wrote:Glad I followed this all the way,
Stunning !!
One last question, did you clean the bottles under the bonnet the same way as the rest of the plastics ??
Thanks matemetrabomb wrote:Congratulations !! You have done an amazing work !!
Just a question, what is the black product that you sprayed under the floor ? Black epoxy paint or blackson (anti ravel product) ?
Yea its an anti gravel product called gravi-tex. Its available in a few colours but black is obviously the best colour for the underneath i reckon.
Hi everyone hope you have all had a fantastic christmas and new year
Now the sport is nearly finished just got the interior to do this summer which i picked up from norfolk a long long time ago from a splendid chap called nick, i'll get some pics up of it up soon
the car is tucked away in the garage undercover at the moment, far to cold to have it out obviously..
In the meantime i bought another e30 its just a totally standard alpine white 316i 3dr it starts and runs and the shell is in amazing condition theres the odd bit of surface rust here and there but for £400 i had to have it, i have no idea what i'm gona do with it yet defo either mint road car or mint track car either way its defo getting saved
I'll get pics of it up soon on a new thread. I've just got a quick question would it be a good idea to remove the mint wheels and tyres off the sport until the summer? Just so i don't get flat spots or would it be ok? Just dont wanna ruin my brand new conti's lol.
Thanks folks

just goes to show you don't need to spend thousands on a full nut and bolt resto to make a car look factory fresh. Excellent job the finished article looks stunning.

Gone but not forgotten.

As for everything lasting overtime all the painted parts will be fine as the car is only gona be out in rain free summer days and the plastics and rubbers will just need re dressed now and again, it lasts ages that stuff!!
super work
you can see my thread below, and this thread is inspiring , i use autoglym vinyl and rubber treatment myself and swear by it....its also my weapon of choice for the interior of an e30 !!

Hi all, haven't been on in a long time infact this is the first time the sports been out since i restored it back in summer 2011!!
Anyways its finally just the way i want it as i've just fitted a very rare double stiched (not piped) mint condition full black nappa leather interior to it, which once was in a 320is (italian M3) as most people like to call em lol..
I'll get pics up asap, hopefully its dry this sunday so i can take it out for a good drive and get some quality pics sorted:)
