This is the connector for the involvement of air conditioning. When you turn the engine control unit automatically picks engine speed

best part of the journey was everyone doing wheel spins away in traffic in the middle of where ever we got stuck? Nottingham??? Jimmy was hitting the limiter and dropping the clutch

even mine being a 2.5 auto it should still be quicker 1/4 mile i would think. bit shit off the line though

i could use the optional launch control, 4.500 rpm in N and drop it into D

When i got back into my sport after driving my old S50 E30, it felt like the clutch pedal wasn't attatched to anything!

My wife was driving my car earlier tonight and she wouldn't stop complaining about the heavy steering (no PAS) and the heavy clutch. All she kept saying was - give me back my skoda!

Little update, i got a few electrical jobs done today.

Ive fitted seat belts, Fit an unmolesterd radio loom, mounted indicator stalk, fitted cruise control, fitted wiper arms and grills making sure plenty of waxoil is down there and it now had an ignition key rather than screw driver.

i also had a look at the leccy window mechs in the door. they were removed by previous owner when it was getting fragged but not put back properly. they have confused the hell out of me

also got it running again, Had no fuel it runs loads better too now, must have been running on the crap in the fuel lines last time. Idles perfectly. where the manifold connects to the down pipe its blowing badly so i'am going to fit a cheapy 6 branch. do the 6 branch manifolds fit both 2 and 3 piece systems??????

sorry for crap pics, was quite fun with the wiring removed an old immobiliser, plenty of crap that was no longer connected and fixed wiring where it had been sliced into, such as the hazard light switch which looks like it was supplying power to a radio

anyone know what this is???? is it part of the bmw cabby alarm, i removed it and the car would no longer start so i connected it again.



whilst fitting cruise control i couldnt fit the socket into accessory socket, it will fit in the one where the blue/brown wire at the top right is but the one next to it is a different shape and the little lug on the plug wont fit in.

does anyone know where this goes???? do i remove the blue and brown one?????

What's involved in the original wiring loom? Where does it all connect up too?

It's just mine is not an oem one, and I want to fit an oem one, but I don't know what is involved.

That loom is out of that late bmw touring i broke so the rear speaker connectors will need cutting off and spade connectors will need putting on. 1 plug in the accessory socket and then all you do it run the wires round the car.

I think only the late looms came with the BMW connector ??

No relay for a stereo

with the radio conector where it should be (behind heater panel) and accessory socket plugged in the speaker wiring goes down the passanger footwell where the passanger front speaker goes, then to the rear passanger side then across to the drivers side rear speaker. and the driver side is suppose to go across the transmission tunnel and up where the speaker is with the wiring loom that goes across but i ran that behind the dash pushed right to the back.


I used tye raps to secure the loom to the rest of the cars loom and used the fabric tape where needed

ive got a 13 button obc on its way, so this would connect to the spare connector on this and i would do away with the OBC immobiliser ecu??
