yes winkeye

either grey or black

i thought cream might look good or red leather with red door cards etc but :? not sure

red might be a bit in your face and cream might clash with the white paintwork.

Red leather is suited for Black/blue & SILVER winkeye cars only i think.... for a white car, black leather would be best me thinks.

You may want to track the progress of these...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :IT&ih=014

I don't think they'll go up too much in the current climate, so you could bag yourself a bargain (untill you upgrade to sports leather fronts)

i'm sure cream/beige/natural leather was an option on white cars... :? definitely has to be black or red/oxblood tho imo. i'm buying another e30 soon with black and oxblood combination seats/door cards. it looks original but...nice

anyone have any idea how much it costs to recover the seats rather than buy a used set.I would want them done properly with the correct stiching and want them to look like the leather seats in e30 sales brochures, I.E no council seat recovering :D

If you go by the awesome example here...

£1600

Where as leather dye on a decent interior to start with will probably cost you £100 max :D

i wouldnt do door cards, IMO they look awful i would use the vinal door cards that the e30s with leathers came with

surely you could get it done less than that, what if i did the front two seats only and baught a used rear one and re dyed it :?

You're still looking at probably about £400+ for just the front seats if you want them done properly.

It's always deeper than you can see. Sort rust before anything else or it'll spread like cancer.

It will turn out to be a large hole in the '325 battery tray.' The big box section will almost guarenteed have a large hole in it once you poke around with a screw driver.

I always prefered the crome e24 to the highline! That one looks very borin in that colour combination IMO! Red leather would really set it of!
