Thats what I mean.. I literally dont have an engine in the turd.. Na.. The engine was on its 2nd head, which it bent the inlet valves of last week, so its been pulled to work out why. It did actually idle briefly, but when it came to a stop, went out of time without me knowing

I get the impression you think I am not a modder, and against all mods? The only original parts on my e30 are the body, carpet, dash and headlining.. Oh and front subframe and rear beam.. I dont even have an e30 engine in the turd
The most significant thing in that though is the bodywork, the e30 could be classed as a handsome, classy looking car.. Which some of these more 'outlandish modders' ruin with choice of rims/stance/stick on tat/batmobile kit. I personally am not adverse to well done kits, colour changes, different wheels etc etc. However despite that I try to build my cars to the sleeper, looks standard but goes and handles alot better ethos. I would rather own a mint standard Sport than most of the tat'd up turds you see about. BMW did a good job from the factory, (Alpina and Hartge improved the recipe though)
No engine, wow. Sleepers are good, nothing like a 316 pulling up next to an M3 and leaving it behind with the owner saying, what the **** is in that

thats where your wrong mate.. a standard 318 convert which i had would be worth not even 2k, i got double that plus more.. so your theory of ugly standard bmw's being worth more is wrong mate.. and no it was not a "one-off MUG" that brought it, as i had NON stop offers coming my way from the moment i put it on ebay.. and i got calls upto a week after still offering me that price someone offered me 5 for it after i had sold itbss325i wrote:MOODY is what your car is! and my calypso cab which had 200k plus on the clock i sold for £5700 both which are council LOL, heres a few pic's, not ashamed of my cars like most,

a few of my current bm

i have always modded my cars or what you all call them council LOL, at the age of 17 i purchased my first e30 i spent £££ on it 18" wheels lotus white leather the works it was only a 1.8,

i sold this back in the days for 6k,
and at the age of 21 i purchased a e36 m3 evo it had warranty with it but i still modded it,

my point being everyone is a individual everyone has there own taste i like modded cars but not too over the top, some people may like my cars and other don't so what, if you don't like someones car then keep it to your self's, when i first joined this site i thought it was a commuinty, but i don't think so its a bitching site, i think we should rename it bitchzone, it would not be very nice or fair if me and the other council car owners LOL, started to make fun of the standard e30's, treat other people like you would like to be treated, and please don't keep bringing my name up in the tread i did not start it, the end,

I think your cars are far from council. Dont worry about some people on here. They tend to get jealous very quickly. Its your money! Spend it how you like. Just because they dont agree with your opinion on wheels, doesn't make you wrong!

This car is stunning! i want it!
Nothing council about it that its my perfect cab! is it a 325 auto by any chance? because if it is it could not get any better!

I just cant stand them wheels on an E30.
They are just Merc AMG replicas.
Its like putting Escort Cosworth wheels on a Nova.

well its like this you don't need to stand it as its not your car is it, and the second thing escort cosworth wheels would not fit a nova, i think its time to give up and let it be don't you, its getting boaring,

I've been steering clear of this thread because basically I've got better things to be doing. With regards to selling a cat c for 4.5k and then another one with 200k up for 5.7k I think you were very lucky to have found to very lazy, uninspiring people who basically can't be bothered to do the work themselves. They must have been right pushovers.
