As some of you may already know, i have finaly collected my interior from the trimmers!
The company i used was B-Trim in Enfield, North London.
http://www.b-trim.co.uk/
They have been in business for 20 years and made their name doing work for BMW main dealers (including the one i work at!) when for example a stock car needed leather which means they have alot of experience with trimming BMW's especially E30's! Take a look at their site and look for the E30 M3 interior under "project cars".
The work i had done was not just a recovering of the original material with leather, they basicly rebuilt my front seats as at 20+ years old they were a little worse for ware.
The seats were completely stripped and the frames straightened/welded were needed, the seat runners de-rusted and painted and all the mechanisms lubed and adjusted. The bolster foams were reshaped were needed/possible then the whole lot was rebuilt with new heating elements fitted to the backs and bases then covered in a fine grain black nappa leather.
A couple of things that i need to sort are the side mech plastic covers as there have faded badly so i have ordered new oned of whats available and will paint the rest to match. The other thing is to wire the seats into the BMW seat loom and switches.
I didnt check the rear seat which was still shrink wrapped from when i bought it and there were no rear head rests so these will be added when i collect the leather centre consols im having done.

Get some rubber cleaner/renovator stuff on it before heating, they just dry out so you need to get some gear back inbss325i wrote:Ah yes the heat gun trick! I have done that to some E36 bumper mouldings before, cant belive i forgot about that! Nice one Dan.

Looking very nice barry, you could try some G-Techniq C4, it's the shizzle when it comes to trim restorer, it's also a permanent coating.

Well the "molested scrapper" as one famous zoner calls it! Has been back on the road for about a month now being used at the weekend but still has some way to go before its complete.....ish.
A bigger update is on the cards this week but finaly heres the first few pics of it clean since the Alpina spoilers were fitted, that i took just before going to a wedding last weekend.

looks superb Barry. Must be a lovely thing to sit in with the Ice cold A/C and them seats
"Molesterd Scrapper" How do you work that out
I'am guessing they have a prefacelift convertible with Tech II kit, Council retrim and some 17" Penis reps, RH Bruv lines or some foreskin Wheels
