you going to fit one of these Dan ?

I wouldn't nos it tbh. I think nos can look really untidy - and your engine bay is immaculate!

A stealthy install on the underside of the manifold would be nice. I'm sure you could tig and flat off where you tap the manifold and then powdercoat it again if you reversed the setup down the line.
I would strongly recommend speaking to Trevor from Wizards Of Nos for proper advice on a safe but effective setup.
I reckon there's a 13.4 in your car as it stands if you can get it off the line with some pressure out the back tyres and the rear ARB undone.

It was a Nardi/Personal Winner, these were fitted to some old TVR's as standard. Pretty rare now, ive since fitted an M-tech 1 small version thats been re-covered and the Personal wheel has been sold to Duke off the forum

Dan.
I've to learnt like your car.
If you NOS it I will not like your car anymore.
I dare say this very comment will accelerate the NOS install.

No it doesn't. Especially with all that Alpina madness under the hood - to let the chav hand of NOS grace it is madness.

We shall see...
You cant knock it really, most cars will do a 1/4 in around a second quicker with some gas!
Ive been working on some go faster mods just lately, if I can get low 13's I might be happy. Ive been spending more time on my track car so the chromie might stay as it is for a while yet. Depends how quickly I get bored though in reality

Update!
About October time last year the exhaust had a bit of a blow, turned out the Scorpion middle box had split open for some reason, so after a few phone calls and a workshop visit I had a large box land on my doorstep which contained this -

Big thanks to randomdave for his help
Its a Fritz M50 exhaust, twin 60mm pipes and straight through boxes, perfect for 3200cc
Next to the 325i Scorpion system

Backbox is smaller/neater which I like very much due to the high valance of the chromie

Internal examination shots

Fitted

There is a bracket on the frontpipes for hanging

So I chopped up a bit of stainless plate

And cam cover bolt rubbers

to bolt it to the gearbox

Manifolds in their last shade of silver

After 10 minutes of engine running

They are a nice gold colour

Bolted a proper linkage in there too

Its louder/more anti-social than the Scorpion 325i system, but at full chat you just have to smile!
I also managed to find a proper Alpina B3 ECU/EWS set on eBay, after about 4 years of searching it had to be bought! No pics of the ECU but it did allow me to refit the S50 MAF
Can you tell which is which?

Arse dyno reports immediate power increase!
I bettered my previous best 1/4 mile at York easter weekend meet, down to 13.5 seconds now

Now I have a matching Alpina engine and ECU I couldnt resist when these matching, freshly refurbed rimz came up for sale

But will they clear the brakes?

You might find the Alpinas won't clear the brakes Dan
as the internal radius is way smaller then the Hartge.

If you Got "Haters",Then your doing something Right!
CR24v??? Where's it all gone?? LOL
The Alpina spoke/drum radius is indeed way larger than the Hartge - only about as much (4-pot caliper type) room as the 15" BBS.
You might get away with sliding calipers, not sure...

I'm sure i measured you calipers on my alpinas with the pdf drawing, and it was tight with your calipers.

Yup - total PITA, 280mm fits but 298.5mm doesn't...and most 16's are fine for 300mm-ish or more.
Alpina seem to have designed them to clear the Alpina brakes and not anything else (which I suppose is good business sense in a way, but not useful to us years later!).

That's waht stopped me from buying your caliper/brake option,
But on the chromie, it'll have the 17" Hartge Splits, so should clear anythong really now.
