*adjust front headlights
*fit all carpets back in boot
*Fit windscreen chrome trim
*buy the chrome for the side of the windscreen infront of door on drivers side

At last ive finished the welding

would i do that amount of welding again?

NO

Really glad its all finished as it was never ending, lovely day today aswell which motivated me more to finish it :P

all bump strips now fitted

Image

Finished boot cubby compartment, i dont have many pics as my blackberrys camera is utter crap, my N95 was much better

Image

Image

Image

ending up having to cut bits of some of the patches to make the last one

Image

forgot to take pics of the back patch

done other side of boot, bit messy but i gave it a skim of filler after some zinc primer and it dont look too bad, it does the job (messy like the other side) :P

Image

Done :D

Image

had a bit of a clean up inside last week

Image

Image

Image

once the tech 1 kit is fitted and painted its just doing odds and sods

Alex well done for having a go mate. My first attempt at welding was on 1/4" plate not 1mm sheat.

You are going to need a sh1t load of grinding discs though my friend.

Thanks

The only welds you see is the door shut which i have grinded down and the 2 corners of the boot whel you open it but it doesnt bother me that much, the others have all been wire brushed, zinc primer'd, seam sealed and then painted :D

I've got a Lazer Blue iS with Blue Leather.

This is hardly relevant to the heinous White on Blue crimes being bandied around on this thread but I feel it warranted an intervention, that taste and decency be represented on Alex's thread at least once.
