I will change the bootlid for one with no spoiler holes but other than the jimmy hill it will be standard.
I might go crazy and fit front fogs

CR24v rules allow very little cosmetic changes. winkeye

Thanks for the nice coms btw :D

Then I fitted my -15mm tophats ready for the re build

That's about it put all my new antiroll bar parts in the van with an E30 rack, Z3 rack, rollbar, and crossmember. Should have the complete unit ready to bolt up when my steering UJ's are back winkeye

Look's good under the bonnet so there is no nightmares to fix. Just bolt shine bits in and we are away. :D

Air box?

Right a quick snap for you. Been busy at work but have nearly sorted crossmember out. I think it will be back on it's wheels thursday. New bottom arms, trackrods, M3 bushes, lower tophats and crossmember DONE

Polishing innerwings is for homo's. I started tonight and gave up after 15mins. Will have to finish now though

You can grind the bar flat but I just drilled it as far back as possible, they are easy to drill TBH, I remember one of the M30 girls whining about how difficult it was to drill but you know what theyre like :gay:

No need for uprated, 21mm bar with an extra hole each side is enough 8)

Modified ARB
Image

Why anyone would find that hard I don't understand. That's a 10 minute job including removing and refitting the tie bars

All built up with Z3 rack ready for fitting tonight.
Image

I will finish G3ing under the bonnet and have it back on it's wheels tonight/tomorrow.

Then it's interior to the trimmers and headling, elec sunroof, rear pop outs and blind on Sunday. Thanks Mat winkeye

Ha ha chears mate.
The reason for drilling the arb is to stiffen it. It's something I had read about but Yoda said I had to do it so it got done. :D
I was at the meet when Lee smashed up the touring although I had left 5 mins before. I was a real sickner. Everyone there felt for him. Without it though there would be no -CR-24v-

Dan I fit the Z3 rack in the front holes on the red car. As that's where the E30 linkage works. Is it better inthe rear holes with your linkage?

Reduces the length from the pivot, therefore makes it stiffer

Dez, the manual rack mounts in the front holes, power rack in the rears 8)
