Ah the death of another chromie. But economical sense see's them waved goodbye too.

I hope it does not mean you have moved to the dark side for good...?
Agreed, them recaro's look mighty nice in AVO... Do they match the rear bench? Oh and look at them gleaming bottletops...
I agree that C class is a fine looking chariot. Is it an AMG livery'd C180 or the real deal?

Same bolster colour and material, recaro's have a herring bone infill, the rest of the interior is small check, but same colour so kinda match.
Wish it was mate, no C220 auto diesel good for 170 horses thou, flappy paddles on the wheel etc, its teh "Sport" version so 15mm lower with the AMG kit and wheels.....

There is a perfectly good reason for the alignment, when correctly adjusted the spolier rubs quite hard on the bodyshell, so until that area is protected the boot height was raised to protect the paint.
So there nar nar de nar nar

+1
are you going to fit the clear sticky things to stop the rubbing ?
nothing worse than a chaffing rear end ..
also I have noticed on the new Alpina boot spoilers they are a bit warped on the trailing bits that sit on the rear wings ?

I think Matt suggested making up a set to match the contours of the spoiler.
yes it does seem to be a little out at the ends, should be fun

thats the idea steve, I was surprised at how it fits considering the cost but you have to be aware that these parts and their moulds were designed over 20 years ago, even back then they were aftermarket parts all be it BMW approved.
Even still, they suit the car especially when combined with the tech 2 kit.

I have an old Alpina spoiler unpainted in 'stock' that sits correct , maybe the new batch were stored wrong ?
or does the heat from the booth do this ?
i hoped Paul would have the spoiler un-painted, nothing wrong with a bit of exposed black rubber !
and it looks very old school

My spoiler sits perfectly
but according to my tame painter, it was a pain to paint and reacted straight away and needed to be painted again.'
The quality isn't the best with these spoilers but they look the b0llocks!

What a stunner. That red is so juicy. Its going to be a proper 80's executive chariot.
I think you need some Recaro classic c's in.

As a tech 2 kitted car is fully colour coded i think it looks better painted.
If it has standard bumpers with black mouldings and side mouldings then leaving it rubber or part rubber ala tech 1 spoiler looks good imo.

Would a chromie cabby with a facelift rear spoiler be acceptable? Looks cool.

I still think the Tech 2 with a rubber spoiler will pull it off, even if it's diamond black ?
I hope Si13 hasn't colour coded his ,
but going back to Paul's a bit of Black on red will be a good contrast?
