As I'm sure many people will agree, this car was the best modified E30 there today. The attention to detail was fantastic!
Well done Dan, It's a really well built car. A credit to your spanner twiddling skills.

I agree entirely with the above. A true sleeper hero chariot if ever there was one!
The only thing i'd change would be some more subtle wheels, then there would be no telling the beast within
Maybe some large steelies for giant slaying
And nice to meet you properly at last too

I got a few pics of you/your car today Dan. Slight problem is most of the ones you are in, you look like you are about to insert the camera up my rather large anus.
I'll Pm you the links tomorrow and you can post the ones you want to.

Got a quality shot of zaust on his mobile looking so confused as Dan shouted in a high pitched voice "Hello mummy"

It does look the tits but it needs raising at the back and the rear wheels need smaller spacers, its undrivable, every time I boot it or corner slightly hard the tyres catch, its really not on....e30topless wrote:+1 ,Dezzy wrote: Leave it as is mate.

Just mill the holes on the wheels out for ventilation / posing potential!DanThe wrote:Gareth you cant possibly want me to hide those brakes away behind steelies!

Scared what would happen if you lean on your chromie arches?
The drop is perfect. I'd try a few mm less spacer first before raising it. Where it's rubbing the tyre profile looks to be about 30° from vertical so you'll get around twice the vertical clearance by moving the tyre in than by moving the arch up.
Don't forget to dab some paint on the arch, the scrubbage on that edge has probably left a small patch of bare metal

The only thing that would happen is greasy finger prints would be left behind
I will be swapping the 10mm spacers for 5's
Also going to buy some new non-compressed spring pads, it sits lower at the back slightly which is a bit too ghetto for me
I might even try and have the H&R's compressed a bit, compressed springs would be stiffer
Heres a pic Dave dph sent me, thanks Dave
