ok here we go..... just say what you see....

and that's about where I am with it. iv just not been arsed with it this winter. and for the record, the wheels are only tempory as I wanted 16" to clear the m3 brakes but as you can see on the fronts that there still too small and iv had to leave the caliper off just so I can get the wheel on. so 17" it will have to be
but that can wait. the engine is the m52b28 out of an auto. not ideal but will do.

no way! yeah had the pioneer digital thingy in the boot wich when I bought the car for £300 sold for £150 and made half my money back, I bought the car off some polish couple in Leicester. whats the story with the car when you had it then? did you sell it to the person I bought it off and how much did you sell it for? ooooo so many questions lolchu346 wrote:I think that could of been my old car you started out with. Was that a pioneer digital aerial on the roof?
is there any pics of it on here?
Can't believe you bought it for £300, I've been looking to buy that car back for years!!!
I had the car before I was on the e30zone. I sold it to an English guy who then sold it to an Indian family down narbourough road I think.
Not got any pics unfortunately.
I bought the car from burton on trent for a grand when I was 19 (31 now), and sold it just over a year later for a grand. On the way home from purchasing it I got 110 out of it, and then pulled on the drive and the cambelt snapped.
I purchased the car with the wheels on. I fitted the pioneer stereo with dab, I think the aerial in the roof made the car look better. Also fitted a lot more stereo but took that out when I sold it.
I had a custom stainless exhaust fitted on the car by mrtyres on aylestone road, was this still on the car when you bought it?
I loved that car, that is why I have gone on to own 4 other e30's.

You will need to change the dipstick and the temp sensor to the brown one from an e30 for the temp sensor to read correctly.breakermart wrote:except the sump conversion, what changes do I make to the engine before fitting? im sure theres a sensor that gets changed but unsure.
While you are at it you might as well change the water pump for the metal type.

yeah I could see there had been a lot of stereo fitted as the parcel shelf was butcherd to have 6x9's fitted, the front and rear door cards were butcherd and modded with big speakers fitted, and there was sound deadening bitchamen sheets fitted all over the car wich I cant get off lol.chu346 wrote:Can't believe you bought it for £300, I've been looking to buy that car back for years!!!

the exhaust was stock when I got it, it had spax suspention fitted with drilled disks fitted.
the interior was cloth and was hanging, drivers seat was bust completely, basicly not much going for it lol,
only fault the car had was the alternator was nakkerd. iv still got the engine and box sat in my garage if you want to come take it away for free lol.
but if you want to have a look at whats left of your old car then your more than welcome to come see.

Whats going on with the M3 rear screen section you've put it, it looks well dodgy in the pic..

wich picture are you looking at? theres nothing dodgy about the fitting of it, only thing I can see that you may be looking at is where the shadow chrome goes around the side windows and down the trim between side window and back window, tere is no gutter trim fitted yet so the black line stops dead near the roofGert_8 wrote:Whats going on with the M3 rear screen section you've put it, it looks well dodgy in the pic..

Looking forward to seeing pics of it out on the road

yeah iv got to be hounest, im surprised at the lack of slateing too lol. (don't want to speak too soon lol)
but with never had done a project before, and not knowing much about others peoples projects, I just assume my efforts towards my car is average, this isn't me being moddest, I just thought im just your typical project builder, some of you lot are realy building quite technical and impressive engines and conversions and so on, I look at mine and think its all half assed!

Whilst i appreciate all the hard work that has obviously gone into the car, i'm not a fan of all the parts that have been painted over, i.e top mounts, nuts, bolts, bonnet runners etc, i think with these removed or even masked it would look better, its only my opinion thou.
