You could say the same about English Alpinas as they were built by Sytner like the Australian ones were built by Bavarian Motorsport.tubby17s wrote:alpina australia is in no way alpina......
I did own an australian Alpina.
Nice pics by the way.
That would be great! I already have the parts catalouge in pdf but not the brochure and i'm sure others would like them both.tubby17s wrote:I also have the origional Alpina broucher in a PDF file and also the alpina workshop parts guide in pdf if somone wants to host them and put them up as some jpegs....

The digital VDO gauge in the heater vent has four read outs, Engine oil temp, engine oil pressure, differential oil temp and inlet manifold pressure/vaccume.markus_74 wrote:Does anyone can inform me, what is each function for digital gauge inside the AC blower?

They are the same car. Basicly In europe the model was called the C2 2.7 to begin with but name changed from C2 2.7 to B3 2.7 as th C prefix was regarded as a lesser Alpina to the B prefix ones ie B10, B6, B7 etc so the name was changed.StuBeeDoo wrote:Sorry, but being an Alpina dunce, I have to ask this.....
What's the difference between the B3 2.7 and the C2 2.7?
Both E30's
Both M20B27 engines (I assume).
Also the first C2 2.7 was built by Sytners not by the Alpina factory in Buchloe.
Sytners also built the first ever Alpina convertible, a C2 2.7 no less in Lachs silver with ox blood/cardinal red leather, reg D315 VVO.
It is local to me and i have tried to buy it with no joy!
