Wow that looks like it's been looked after, certainly a steal for £300.
I would have to agree with e30cbe- minimal lowering and 15" bbs wheels will make it look nice and clean.
The chrome bumper cars can look a little tacky with big wheels, slammed to the ground e.t.c, but it's your choice.
Good luck and happy Christmas.

Cheers guys, its mint underneath, really solid, the only rust to speak of is a bit of bubblin on the rear corners of the bonnet and same on the nearside rear arch but its smaller than a 5p. Its an 84 model too

Big wheels ie 17's and 18's yes maybe but not deep dish 16's!liquid079 wrote:The chrome bumper cars can look a little tacky with big wheels, slammed to the ground e.t.c, but it's your choice.
A set of 16x9 borbet b's or some genunine bbs rs 15's or 16's 8 or 9 wide would look f*cking cool with a 60mm drop.
A set of deep dish wheels would suit the chrome bumper car better than a plastic bumper one would.

She's going on Ebay at the weekend, weather permitting (for photographs). I'll be very sad to see her go, she's been absolutely fantastic
Ah well, thought I'd let you guys know first

I know, I know... I don't want to sell her believe me, I just have to find something more sensible (read 'sensible' as better on the fuel) I can't really justify driving about with a lovely straight six engine at the moment as I'm about to start renting a house and stuff. Be very sad to see her go
Just hope I get a good price for her - might help soften the blow!

She would have looked good parked next to my old 1983 320i

Only just noticed this thread - I bid this car up to £600 the first time it was listed on ebay and then gave up - Think it sold originally for £650 and then the sale fell through - don't know what it sold for the second time round - is the current owner a zoner ? anyone know ?

e30topless said : Proper BMW's have 4 headlights, last of the run was the E30 and E34/E32 anything after that is just complete shite
