mine is not low at all any lower and i will defo lose my sump, as the sump, front spoiler and the exhaust all scrape

its a set of 60mm springs but becuase of all the weights in the back from the subs and stuff its dropped it that low. i am from south london but have family in east (ilford) so thats were you prob seen me :cool:

e36 koz you sure your car is a 60mm drop? did you cut the front arches to allow clearance? as i did to mine

With my car with a 60mm drop and the hardtop, the rear arches sit over the wheel ????

mine was once low.. every speed hump kept scraping my zaust and my lower valance tech 2 kit... ive since put standard springs back on and the comfort ive gained is 2nd to none!!!

does cutting the roof of count as a cab grant ? if so ive got a seriously low one in my drive the now but youd need to come over here as if i towed it to yours dont think thered be much of the floor left winkeye

Choor I don't own that cab anymore. The car had heated springs(Don't ask!!) thats why it was sitting so low!

there's a cab around southall area with borbet b's which is seriously low, i dont know if he's a member on here but it is one sweet ride :cool:

These are standard springs, that have been heated up with a heat gun which thus compresses them & shortens them to give a reduced ride height... the more you heat the more they will shorten, results in a really bouncy ride & has been deemed extremely dangerious as they are known to snap.

Advantage over cut springs is that these wont pop out, but I wouldnt recommend either method for lowering....

Ohhh DelBoye talking of heated springs reminds me of the days i used to go to Grays in Hanwell and get 'Don Singh' to heat the springs up and deck my cars :D Cant believe the crazy shit i used to do lol. Ps that silver cab was sickkkkk why did you sell it man! :cool:

Ray - I sold it cos I got an offer I couldn't refuse. Anyway I've got my tech 2 sport and my tech 2 cab to play with now!

Low_e30 Thanks for clarifying that, I also wouldn't recommend anyone doing that to their car!

I think i know which blue one you are on about...K reg, mtech2, black rims with polished lips?.....

Don Singh or Tunna as he's known also done the suspension on my cab, but with proper springs & shocks!..Lol...he's still there as it goes...

haha heated springs!!! tunna also known as DON. . . . i remember him tellin me bout sum1s e30 where the car had heated springs and eventually they snapped.

the the car was on the floor! he dint go ahead with mine. A friend of my dads . . . Top bloke.

wudnt do the heated springs. . . . luk fat tho!!!
