m3ben05....I'm selling because I want to buy another well known M3 which is probably the best I could buy right now. But I am going to try to keep my SE.

Certainly a good car to buy but IMO not worth selling the sport evo for.

I keep coming back to this thread and looking at the car and i cant stop!!! Its become a daily routine. Keep it, then sell it to me in the future when im through uni and actually have money.lol.
Starting to prefer macau blue to black now.

But you have one.
.......just kidding. Whoever buys it is a lucky sod.
When i have enough money in future then i will buy a macau blue one and do the same stuff to i ti think cos that colour and those wheels seems the ultimate. Not seen much better tbh. Just needs another bucket seat and a rear cage.
Obsessed with macau blue M3's now.lol.

Hehe, glad you do. nah, i used to think that too but the more i look at that car the more i like those wheels.
Yup, everything done to it is spot on it seems right down to the mirrors.
hehe, just think it looks a bit odd with one bucket and i thought a rear bolt in cage would look quite cool. maybe not.
You might be right, save it for a cheaper one to thrash.

The problem with a cage is that you have to drill holes in the car to fit it and getting it to fit round the back seats is tricky and will leave dents in them when its removed.
Iv never really been a fan of those schnitzer mirrors tbh, i prefer original DTM's.
Hes got the original seat that will go back into the car when its sold.
Pics dont really do the car justice either - you may be able to judge for yourself at gaydon this weekend (depending on weather)

Yeah...scrap the cage idea.lol. Was off the top of me head.
Oh right, i quite like em. Different. Just love everything about the car!
Im sure they dont. Same with every car though, always better in the flesh id say.
Sadly not going to gaydon. Prob a good thing cos i prob couldn't drag myslef away from staring at the car. Then id spend weeks and weeks constantly boring the missus talking about it!lol

Insurance on an M3 is a nightmare! Obviously the older you are the better it gets but its still expensive. Both me and Sunny are pretty young so we get scammed for it!
To give you an idea, i was paying £1800 last year!
Absolutely no issues with LHD, its every bit as easy as driving RHD. I reguarly switch between the 2 and i never have any probs.

No work needed really - i get free labour from the guy who looks after my dads DTM car. When i got it i had a complete engine rebuild, new suspension, new brakes, new wheels and some body panels resprayed. Is it needing work done or in good shape?
None of that was essential apart from spraying the front spoiler and some new pads.
Its going in for another rebuild only because its in storage at the guys workshop and hes offered to do it for me.
Apart from that, i think there are some bushes that need replacing and maybe a small service before taking it to silverstone next month.
When im done with uni il be getting the alpha N & carbon box setup installed, a new exhaust and some BBS RS wheels.
It wasnt cheap but i wanted one in flawless condition that wouldnt need much work doing. You always get what you pay for.Very very nice u must paid a fair penny for that beast eh
This is without a shadow of a doubt THE car im striving to get to. I want this car sooo badly its almost worth putting it on my Visa Platinum!!! Seriously it has everything that i would want on my M3...Carbon airbox, 3 piece splitrims, DTM mirrors, alpha eng man, evo 2 bodykit.
I WANT I WANT!!
Put it this way, you have a maccau blue m3 but you want to add these little beauties to it, think of the dollar that will set you back. say you spend £7k for a nice example M3 your going to spend another £4-5k to get it looking this good. Its a NO BRAINER you should just buy this and save yourself a) hassle and b) expense!!
Good luck with the sale.

People dont seem to understand do they geoff.
This stuff aint cheap bolt on rubbish! Its not just a case of writing a 5k cheque for the bits either, some of these bits are so rare you would NEVER find them! Same is trur for the alpha N - to get it all fitted and mapped properly is serious cash and a lot of time.
Also, good luck finding a standard evo 2 in this condition for under 10k - i know because i spent a long time looking!

Haven't a clue but my mates got an S3 thats chipped and its allegedly 270bhp. It is fast, actually didn't feel anywhere near as fast as gary's evo3 tbh. I dont care wether something like the S3 is faster, i would choose an E30 M3 over any of em! Looks better, better put together car, would most likely get it in the twisties, etc. Just ace!
