ha ha pete , nowt wrong with your memory mate .
you'll f00kin love this ...i thought id take the roof down ...turns out it's easier said than done .
After ages trying to find out why the horseshoe won't open i must of knocked the "safety catch" by shear fluke and it opened ...get in ya bastard i thought .... and gave up shortly afterwards when the roof wouldn't go into the cubby hole thing

bare in mind i've never had a convertible before , it was cold and the match was about to start on telly ....i know how it's done now

Convertible ownership lesson 7.86 = NEVER lower / raise the roof when it is less than sunny. If the rear screen cracks, you will know why
This is not an issue with nice new shiny roofs but is very much an issue with older ones !

that is exactly what happened to this ..the M3 cab i found rotting away in Southampton 2008 apparently lifting the loosely fitted tarp slightly to see what lurks beneath after clocking the staggered alpina's was not acceptable back then ... i remember the stick i got for this pic ....way out numbered by the pm's from hopeful new ownerspacerpete wrote:
