I had a chat with the orginial owner this morning and he was kind enough to shed some light on the 325.

Its got rust issues on both arches.
Rust on both doors.
Rust on the sills at rear jacking points.
Needs new rear plastic window.
Needs 2 rear tyres.
Rear brakes.
And a good service.
So i was a little put of to be honest but i went to have a look anyway.
And all of the above was true, she was also damp maybe from sitting outside.
The rear arches where caked in mud is it to much to ask to give the car a proper clean.
So i just said to the chap not for me not as descibed over the phone as rust free showed him all the places and all you get is its not a new car.
So i just left end of.
I have come to the conclusion that there are no nice e30s to be had anymore.

Thats a shame. Good ones are now getting very hard to find. You will find one. Don't lose heart yet.

Yes it is getting harder to find a nice e30.
There is not much for sale at the minute to be honest.

Keep looking, there are still some very nice ones around. Cabs were generally far less used than the others, 2/4 doors and tourings. 325's are far harder to find mint than 320's and 318's. 320's with low milage and mint condition turn up most frequently, usually owned by OAP's. The biggest issue in my book is rust, and the rust free ones always seem to be over £3k now. Almost everything else can be easily fixed. The fun is in the chase!
Selection of BMW hardtops available, please ask!

Are you specifically looking for a convertible, 325, or what? Just a good clean honest car?
