This s*** makes my blood boil! I'd paint the bonnet white and wait for them to come back for a couple of nights. They won't notice the screen because it will be dark and will think you've had it repaired then you can have em!

FINALLY!!! Some good news haha.... Armed with 2 friends, some thinners, some blue roll, a couple of towels and some blades for the paint on the window... oh and not forgetting a large meat feast and a large cheese and tomato pizza from dominos... we decided to have a crack at getting the paint off...

so here's a before snap....

had to get a shot with the cab's bonnet in too

i still have to get a bit off on the lower valance but that isn't too important as will have the breyton kit going over it soon

i've took the grilles off to give a flat and paint too .... so so happy now... all that's left now is to give it a quick mopping over

the police have filed it.... as apparently that is all they can do.... about as much use as a chocolate cfrying pan... then weren't even willing to dust the rock for finger prints from the first time.

I read the thread from the first page and it took me way longer then it should have lol, kept looking at the avatar.

Thats a balls about the E30 mate but at least you got the paint off. I hope you find out who did it aswell so you can have "words" with them.

well guys, one more update... i think i may possibly know who did it now.... my sister's car had an attempted break in last night on the driveway where my car was when damage was done to mine.... now, this time... they were spotted by two seperate neighbours... i now have a moral dilema... do i hand the info to the police or go all tony soprano and bung them in the boot of a car and go for a long drive, give 'em a kickin and leave them somewhere a long walk from home?

Tough one

In the real world I'd go to the Police and let them bring them to justice, which probably won't come to much.

Playing games with them might result in more repercussions. How about bunging a mate a few quid to play with them in the right manner to keep your hands clean

Option 2 for me... Added warning that if anything goes missing gets damaged again you and Chuck Norris will be around and it wont be so friendly.... (after a good kicking)

I have had a similar issue and I confronted the person who then pleaded innocence, I simply said well I am blaming you and its now in your best interest to ensure it never happens again otherwise I will burn down your house in your sleep...

For years this guy has gone out of his way to be nice to me... And the issue never happened again...

Its best to do this with a soft voice and a smile....

Shows your looking forward to it and makes you look like a nutter that might actually do it... Then follow it up with a gentle pat on the back
