I am in total awe!
My 325i is due back from the paint shop any day. It's a very late Laguna Green coupe ('91) with an is lip etc. Can't wait to get it back. It is being sprayed by a guy named Steve in Purley (ID coachworks), who comes highly recommended from the 'zone. He says next time i see it, it will look like it just rolled off the production line. Can't wait!
I want it to look just like yours-just looks absolutely amazing. You should be so so proud!
thanks mate, i am very proud of it,and all the nice comments from people on here and mates etc make it all the sweeter and even more proud, its not like ive bought it and thats how it is, spent many hours of labour doing stuff and keep it clean and looked after, and spent a lot of money on it always trying to improve, once im am finished with it it will look factory fresh, it drives like it is too, aim is to get all the trim and everything like new, and the engine bay and all the period options and spec it up, obc and cruise control, rear parcel blind,a chip possibly, and an lsd somewhen down the line-once all finished, il put aside a bit every week and have a re spray fund, it doesnt need it yet, but one day i want one done to make it like new , i dont drink or go out pissing it up etc, and this cars my hobby aswell as my pride and joy, and get immense pleasure from driving and owning it
im itching to get my other set of wheels back from refurb, been a few weeks now, bbs gold centres/caps+polished lip, and put the mud flaps on- i think it will look amazing,i really hope it does as the wheels are a bit of a gamble on the color choice, but im quietly confident il be happy and theyl look nice with the car color
bet your excited to get your car back, is it having a full re spray then ? rough cost if i may ask ? ,whats all the trim and stuff like ? get some pics up when you get it back and give it a good clean, remember if its new paint not to wax it or anything for a few weeks or longer
