That engine is mental. Don't put vents in the bonnet the same as the Z3? I think that would look totally council. If the engine bay needs extra ventilation maybe remount it with the back (windsreen end) raised.

Wow!!!!
That is 1 nice fooking system. That's what a custom exhaust should look like for all those with a powerflow system.

Nice one Stbaz, Looks great outside the car too! can't wait to start mine, possibly weekend after next, 5.0L covers are awesome.
Not sure if you have plans for the prop yet? I used e34 525d front section and 328i e36 rear and it bolted straight in with e30 Centre bearing.
Cheers

That's the one, I had a system made up by them 10 years ago for my sport.
I ditched it off the sport and went with the BTB system.
When I was there he was making everything for a Ford GT40, it was superb.
I then spent the day boozing in the pub near the canal, it was a summer's day and I made the most of it, the mrs had to drive home and I couldn't hear the growl because I was half cut and the mrs wouldn't open it up.

i didnt go to btb as they already quoted me 3 grand for a system and manifold for the car when it had an m30 in it. can only imagine what they would want for the m60 set up. like i say the quality and quantity for price as far as im concerned from jp is amazing

Can I go against the grain slightly...

To me, that is not conducive to making decent power. That along with the unequal length manifolds. I know the standard v8 manifolds are less than ideal(in a 5 series!) but I doubt they flow worse than these...
On the plus side they only cost £1500 and there is very limited room in the engine bay, but to comment that they are the best thing since sliced bread is slightly wrong IMO.
What is going on with the interpipe, I can't work out what is happening between the silencer and the flange?
On a more positive note, the 5.0 v8, tell me more!
