Felix79 wrote:Loverly car there indeed. I always find it odd looking at the single pipe exhuasts on the 316 and 318i's but other than that it looks as close to perfect as you could want. I started off with a D reg m10 318i back in 2002 and I still rate it as one of the best and most fun cars I had ever owned!

cheers felix :D
as for the exhaust, iv got my eyes on a few set ups 8) and will get round to swapping it over at some point, as for the M10, same i think its a good litte engine winkeye :D

I don't mind what state your other one is in...

As for the M10, it is a good little engine really. How does the carb compare to the injection Joe?

well its been a while, sence i last drove the injection, but dont think there's really that much init, lower down revs and i think the injection wins, and mpg is a bit better plus easyer to start on a cold day winkeye

but i do like the carb. It make's a better sound winkeye also the throttle response is a lot quick, and once it gets to about 3000rpm then sencond choke opens up and it does sound good, move's well too

if you think about selling it let me know

That was a nice little package you got, I would change the head unit and speakers but keep the old grills.

I think your own shots have been better previously.

Lovely looking car though, shame Bazza never got to give it some 24v action
