Its nearly there now, The Engine is in and the Exhaust is finished, I hope it wont be too loud there is a good big magnaflow box in the middle , and two other sets of UUC boxes but they are all straight through:D.
got a good bit done today , got the two speed fan hooked up and side lights sorted out ( loom starting to show its age ) and fog lights wired up as bmw intended . The cooling system plumbing is finished , Fuel lines plumbed up .
Unloader relay modification done , new feed to fuse box done , senders for oil temp and pressure fitted and wired ( more of a pain in the arse than you would imagine but the oil filter housing is m12 female thread and the gauges senders are 1/8 bspp male thread and with the plenum there is not a whole pile of room)
the c101 plug is removed ready for the conversion over to x20 , so we sould have noise over the next couple of days . Should be seeing road in the next couple of days

Looks lovely! Have you got any pics of how the rear exhaust manifold clears the steering column?

Ill Get some for ya ill put it on my mates Lift, it barely misses it, its very Tight winkeye possibly 4-5mm in it, as i wanted to retain the Z3 rack, was a complete ballbaraker and took up most of the build time, as it had to be done, re-done and done again until it fit without fouling, The car feels fantastic on the road, ive drivin it all week without any problems at all, the work is top notch, couldnt be happier

Hi MAte.....great project.....
Is there any Dicko equivalent in the North west near Manchester, I need exactly that kind of technical support 2 weeks ago. Great piece of kit with no silly mods, just the right ones

Cheers Magpie i do love the sound of it, my mate has a full BTB system on his s50b32 and its alot quieter in comparison, especially on tickover, its sounds so unassuming whereas my one is a bit lairy but i love it, has a nice "Bike like" rasp to it up the rev range,

It made 276BHP on the Dyno on saturday, i was happy enough as it needs a service, and a proper cold air feed, its running lean from 5000RPM so theres scope for adjustment there, was hoping for stock power but 10bhp down on a 13 year old engine isnt too bad all things considered
