it's looking good
shame you didn't stick with the Hartge theme
my tourer is an Alpina Look a-likey type thing
not sure if you know already but if you want to fit the Alpina front spoiler they sit really low !!
so be careful how much you lower it...
with the recent weather I found out why they are known as/called a snowplough, and mine is at standard height

If I go with the black theme I will buy propper lenses and grille (and smoked side repeaters)

I think its lowerd 40 or 50mm,I dont like the arch gap at the front but have left it this high so I can fit the Alpina spoiler, had I gone with the Hartge theme I would have got the wheels level with the arches.
Yours looks realy nice by the way.

thanks but there's lots to do yet
I was looking for a black tourer but didn't have any luck finding one, this is lazer blue which should look nice with the gold alpina decals I have
where did you get the badges from ?

All my Hartge/alpina bits have come from e30s I had many years ago...this is the first for about 7yrs!
I like lazer blue, its not such an obvious color as black. I had an E28 in blue with gold alpina stripes - it looked the nuts!!
Thinking about stripes on mine...silver?

Cheers topless,
I think ive sourced an Alpina front skirt now. I did think about an IS one but ive had one of those stolen before and the Alpina one bolts on.
Thanks Spook.

The front one is a "M" badge with the M cut off and a wide dark blue (to cover the red)stripe next to the original light blue one

Not too sure about fitting C2 2.7 badges, may just go with Alpina scripts on the boot and grille.
It seems a bit over badged when its a 2.5.

I hope to be fitting the Alpina spoiler and a gold stripe kit over the next couple of weeks,so it should look a bit like this but with 17" wheels.

Yes,im planning to collect it at the ace (that was arranged with Barry),dont think i will be in the touring though, as im doing rear bushes, underseal,ect...
Those gold stripes look the nuts dont they. I too was gonna go with silver untill I saw that.
It has the hard German look that all Alpinas should.

This car is now potentialy sold, I am a bit regretful now.
The items below are not rare, but they are when they all belong to one car.
Its hard enough to find a 2.5 manual tourer in black, but in this condition and with this lot....near impossible
Complete original tool kit.

Bmw unused warning triangle and box.

Unused bmw jack,wheel brace,wheel chock,first aid kit.

Hand books, sevice book, history, bmw folder, waranty, spare key, torch, (all matching locks including glove box)ect..

Un cracked dash.

Rust free tailgate.

And a working balance controll, with bmw tweeters.

A complete, non buggerd boot interior with load cover.

A drivers seat with no squab wear/tears.

Everything works, drives tight with no noises/bangs ect...no covers missing, good central locking bla blah.
