Dunno without miles/history/rust. Comprehensive history, sub 100k miles and the odd spot of surface rust, more than £2k. Patchy history, 150k+ and crunchy bits, more like £500. Has it had any welding?

Looks a good un though, how much was 'over the odds'?

why can't you put HID's in the older type lights? i'm planning to put some in in the near future and wasn't aware they weren't compatible?
i'm not that fussed on the blue type hid's either myself and will be going for the white type, cheers for pointing out they're 4300k's.

i paid a bit over the odds for it but it's worth it as she really is remarkably straight, what do you reckon shes's worth to sell out of curiosity?

Because for them to work properly you need to have a projector lense.

cool on the projector lense thing i'm glad you told me that, looks like it'll be smilies then and some HID's poss after xmas. mileage is 170k but it's sweet as a nut, no welding tiny extremely minor patches of rust but you've got to be looking for them hard. not a worn bush or part anywhere, everything is as it left the factory not a broken clip or anything, she's a timewarp car, if the clocks said 43k i'd have believed it. full service history every MOT since new, a wad of receipts from BMW as the previous owner worked there and got parts cheap. all in all superb, and i'm a little coy to give prices tbh sorry but it was strong money.

Some people will moan about smileys on a metal bumper car but they dont look that out of place.

They are marginaly better than the early ones but with smileys you can do HID conversion
cant you do an HID conversion on the early headlights ? :(
