That's the car I'm using as a base for the styling of my friend's Capri! He asked me to re-design the exterior styling, and that's the very photograph I'm using for ideas and inspiration, along with one or two others, of different cars. If you'd like to see the designs when I'm done, just e-mail me. It wont be completed for a while yet (hence why I need the e-mail, as a reminder) but so far it's going well. I've got some very weird designs whilrling around in my head. Have you got more photographs I could have? I seem to recall the rear lights had something special about them..? Or am I just thinking of those lights that are behind the grille? I dunno.
i have a load of other pics you are welcome to if you need them. i did do a quad light conversion and i have pics of them if you need them and the rear lights were nothing more special than mk2 capri lights.

love the opel manta gte myself (had a mk111 1.6gl capri before the manta) great at sliding the back end out, nice car, sold it got the manta gte, better car than the capri but lost out in engine choice, had a race with a 2.8i capri many years ago with my manta gte on a duel carridgeway, had a long sweeping right bend beet him round the bend as manta has a better chassis but lost out on the straight as he had a bigger engine, sold that manta moved onto new stuff, but bought a manta coupe with a sri 130 engine fitted 2years ago which is in my garage over the winter months as they love to rust, its pritty near mint this ones for keeps, and my e30 let is being built in my other garage, love old skool motors.
