how new is it clive what have you replaced ? what oil you using mate ?

replaced everything, rings/shells/seals/cam etc. full new rebuild.
just using castrol gtx oil at the mo, going to drop it out @ 100 miles and do oil/filter change with some better stuff.

glad yours is up and running mate looking very cool in that bay.

@ rav. it was the tappets mate, re adjusted them and she was fine

if everything is new I'd use millers comp running in oil it's only 20 quid good stuff it help bed the ring etc in normal oil don't really do the job I run mine in for 1000 miles didn't go over 3k rev first time round this time I'm only gonna go for 500 miles just to bed the rings in

Cheers mate, just put the 9"s on the front was running 7.5"s as a staggered setup, getting just how I want it now I'm so tempted to go down the turbo'd route after seeing yours lol

hows the inlet mani coming along? I'm waiting for my welder to be repaired then ive got a new log style mani to zap together.

and my billet fuel rail still needs a bit of machining but getting there
