The 6 cylinder convertible front ARB should be 21mm which will be an upgrade.

Ed
Do you know what the M40 touring one is as standard?
All tourings had 20mm front and 13.5 rear

Not really worth the hassle then for a mm so will leave that till I can afford some aftermarkets.

Decided im going to paint the centre of the wheels in Black.
How it will look remains to be seen but as im not the biggest fan of these wheels I have nothing to lose really.
Ive already cleaned and started prepping them, just got to pick some etch primer and masking tape up tomorrow.

Back on BBS`s for now :D

One of those things mate, good idea at the time and all dat :D
On the plus side I did buy my old BBS back complete with caps for £45...that is the BBS I swapped for the Borbets originally :P

Keeping the BBS on along with a set of decent tyres is the sensible choice but 15`s just dont fill the arches up enough IMO.
Hartge,Alpina,BK,MiMs,BBS,Borbet....been there done that,whats next I wonder :D

Like I said im not too bothered really. To be fair they are pretty much fooked anyway I think.I know atleast one has a buckle, all have knackered lips and one has a flat spot :chuckle:
Oh and all 4 tyres are wearing badly on the insides

Can I fit 225`s on the BBS`s if I kept those?

This 325i sport had standard 205/55/15 at the front but 225/50/15 at the rear. I might try this combination.

Also E32's and E34's with 15" BBS's had 225's on a 7J wheel which is the same width as E30's.

Right ive decided that the ugly Black Borbets are going.
They are pretty much fooked anyway same as the tyres now so ill sell them as `fit for abuse` wheels :D
Still not sure wether to buy new tyres for the BBS or get another set of 16`s yet, just looking whats about for now.

Car is running perfectly except for one issue.
revs seem to take a good while to drop from around 1500.
Idles and runs lovely and ive looked for airleaks to no avail.
Ideas?

Would that cause my problem of slow to drop revs?
As said it idles perfectly with no hunting etc and revs up well with no flat spots.
