Hecke = rear or at the back and Blende = trim / blending part.

It's just a rear licence plate trim but in the rear light plastic so it maintains the colour across the back - looks cool:

I love this look. Would this fit a tourer? Steve dont worry about a 2 post ramp, get it upto my place when its running and driving and we can get the underseal on nice and easy with the exhaust and prop removed. :D might bob over later in the week to pick up the lift if you have done with it (i know you havent got your van). Got mine all welded up at the weekend and burnt my eyes nicely. get that dishwasher cranked up, we wont tell the missus.!

Really nice to see the progress your making buddy.

How much longer do you think it will be before you'll take it for the MOT?

cheers felix :)

I doubt it will get out of the garage until early spring,
unfortunatly I work abroad a lot in winter :D so i won't have much time to do anything after the next few weeks,
I have spent most of today just fitting clips/ trim ect and it's coming along nicely, but not much need to update any pics,
tommorow it WILL run fingers crossed ! just the exhaust to fit in the morning before I try it :D

discovered the petrol pipes were fitted the wrong way around

switched them over and it fired into life straight away  :woohoo: what a f@@in relief !

I am using the hartge system with a fritzbitz centre box and it really does rumble :D

just got in from the garage I got a waterleak .. i must have broken the elbow on the back of the head when i slotted it in :(

it's not the first time i have done this putting in an M20,
I will have to undo the mounts and lift the lump forward so i can change it I knew it went in too easy !

fast going off the idea of red leather ! think it's black for me,

a certain zoner possibly has a nice set coming up for sale

Si, shame I don't live closer would love to help out on the pina :D
or you doing all my wiring winkeye

as for funds running out, tell me about it, getting hard to justify the amount i have spent on this turd probably around 7k ? I have stopped counting, and there's lots more trips to the stealers yet ... :(

bit of an update ....

things are going pretty good :)

just need to source the seats/doorcards fit OBC and the interior is almost finished

not sure if i should fit electric windows I like the keep-fit versions :?

immaculate dash fitted (took me all day to do it carefully)
Image

decided to go with the grey carpet, me thinks black would be too much I think along with black headlining and black leather
Image

fitted the sunroof correctly, wasn't happy with the headlining so I re-fitted it looks much better now, anyone got ideas on what I should use to clean it ?
Image

I think I have spent more time on the sunroof and headlining than i have on sticking the M20 in !

the engine is running great, although it's very tight ,
here's a short vid on the first startup after fixing the waterleak
it's a bit noisy without centre box don't think my neighbours approved

I hate pulling roof linings out and refitting them. Deffo one of the most tedious/fiddely jobs on an E30!

Pm on its way.
