Cracked on with the drivers side today and also made a spanner so I can get adjustment on the rear beam, camber/toe adjustment
Bastard bolt-
The 'warrior' spanner 17mm ground to a 18mm then slimmed down
Lack of parts led me to stop untill bmw get my parts in
I also fitted the ashley exhaust... im going to shorten the exhaust hole on the rear valence so it fits nice and neat

So today ive got the drivers side rear end all on and both arches 2k painted in anthracite gloss. Weve also cut the front panel out to fit the rad in with the fan... nightmare... and fitted the exhaust system.. which due to poor workmanship... it doesnt fit. Its not bent low enough to fit under the fuel tank :/ back serching for a decent lightweight system...

Another busy day,
With thanks to pete we got lots done

Painted the innerwing
Refitted the majority of the engine parts... only acouple of bits to do
Ive binned the viscose fan and fitted a electric fan with had caused a issue.. the pully on the front of the engine wouldnt let the unit fit so weve mounted the fan on the front and also flipped the fan blades so it blows the correct way.. upon refitting it we had issues were it wouldnt fit because of the front panel.. so we took a section out of the front panel and used some edging strip to tidy it up... ill be spraying the front panel next weekend.
New bonnet.. well old but new to me
Calipers and disks on route to blast and coat.

My genuine ASHLEY black series exhaust system has turned up... its a single 2.5" pipe front to back which has thrown another issue... my down pipe is twin pipe... so ive got back on the dog and bone and ordered the race fown pipe.. and mani...what a nightmare

Unfortunately ashley emailed to say the down pipe and mani will be 7 weeks.... this pushes my car over D day... I need it done and on the road for mid may as im of to nurburgring. So I dug out my welder and knocked up a adaptor pipe to join my 2.5 single pipe ashley system to the twin pipe down pipe... ive not used the welder in a long time and its a gasless thing so not great... not pretty but it does the job-
Adaptor pipe - ill stick some uht paint on tomorrow.
Strut fitted
I also found this... more worryingly ive been doing track days at upto 145ish in it... the track rod end bolt was just sloted over!!!

Another update for those following.
Uht painted the custom exhaust reducer and got the system fitted snug
Also fitted a plate into where the spare wheel well 'was'. And made a hanger for the exhaust on it
Got the disk on but not the calipe.... I may need new calipers...
D day is looming... I have 4 weeks to get it complete... thats the pain... every little niggle thats left get it running... and mot.... the 5th week is nurburgring weekend.... so thats 8 days working on it (i work away in the week)

I recognise that unit!

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.
