Yes. Available from the M Technic accessories catalogue from late 1984 and fitted to the 333i from 1985. The 325i Sport arrived in late 1986.
It was not available from the regular options list, only from the M Technic accessories catalogue.
The 325i Sport is a UK model. Elsewhere it's known as the 'M Paket' or M Package, available on most E30's. The 325i M Paket doesn't have the LSD.

Havent had much time to pish about with the Sport just recently, but had some time today and should be able to carry on in a bit.

Found that the clutch master is leaking, havent inspected it further yet. Hopefully its just something thats loose, but doubtful. I'll get a replacement for that and the slave and get them switched.

In other news, my wooden shanty unit is having to come down as the council said so! Because of its size and planning permissions, they said it needs removing. We are having an ongoing thing with them at the moment thats been dragging out for ages and instead of being able to get what they want elsewhere, they have pointed fingers at the unit :(

But I am moving into a more up market barn with concrete floors and electricity, so once in there, I can then tinker around with the clutch part more as currently, outisde is flooding again

Will be in the new unit by the middle of next week too

Anyway, today I had enough of interior parts taking up the kitchen so took the back half of the rear bench back out after cleaning up like I did the front seats. Also using the bench from the chromie as that has rear head rests fitted :D

I decided, while I was there, I may aswell strip the chromie of its rear blind too, as im pretty executive like that, although I didnt want to put the ceiling clips into the sport headlinging so its just the blind at the moment, if I decide that I will keep the black roof lining for myself for future use then i'll put the clips in and have the blind working.

To start... The current rear shelf has some boy'd up speakers in, obviously...

Image

But Jim'll fix it... :D

Now then, now then

Image

Image

I thought to myself... Ooo, premium speakers would look good! But then realised that would only fit this way round. I'm sure they fit facing inwards usually? And it turns out the speakers sound shocking so I used some Vibe speakers I was rocking up front in the chromie, which sound 'off' still so will need to wire up a amp at some point. Luckily, being a Bruv sport, all the wiring is already in the boot...

Premiums...

Switched to the vibes

Done...

I did mention that I was going to be pulling up the carpet for pictures, just for Pete too... But after pulling up Matt's the other day, I think I may delay pulling these ones up at the moment
Although I will probably have it out in a couple of weeks, once the unit is ready as can put the car in there then while I do it

Not liking the grey carpet in there anyway so I might pillege the chromie carpet too while im at it as its been dyed black.

On my too list now is;

Fogged up front light needs replacing or taking apart and cleaning
Refit HLWW Arms and sort the pumps out for it
Get the engine running better (Still think its sortable)
Get some underseal on the driver real arch as thats the only one I didnt do
Give it a good polish
Get it insured for Diffing
Change the diff oil too as I have a feeling this hasnt been done for sometime and I havent even road tested it to find out

Nooo, i'm just borrowing parts  May as well enjoy the bits I can take off for now. :D I will be selling the map light mirror from the chromie though as got one in the sport that will be taken back to stash. Same goes for the comfort leathers that were in the chromie.

Anyway, carpets up and out! I'd say on par with Matt's, its been worked on but the work isnt the greatest and mines gone in exactly the same spots and Matts on the inner sills... Still nothing a carpet wont cover! :D

I'll upload the pictures shortly.

Also, while I was there, I swapped the clutch master for another known working (I know I know, replace both the master and slave with new but im proper tight and would rather keep doing it over and over again to save a few quid ), I still need to bleed it but now the engine is running rough as sh1t. I'm assuming that has something to do with the clutch not being bled? And if so, I assume the engine running rough before hand is down to that too as it was leaking etc...

Its something I know bob all about so might seem a daft question!

You don't say :rolling:

Clutch has no relation to how the engine runs at all! The engine is rough because I personally think it's shagged, too much thrash and too many broken sumps, no telling how long it's been ran without oil each time.

Well, since switching the Clutch master, the engine is really bad now dude, 30 minutes before, it was running as it was when you seen it... Now its cutting out if I dont rev it... Surely not a coinedence?

Certainly is coincidence fella. The clutch has no relation to the engine, none of it's parts even touch the engine, closest any of it gets is the flywheel. Maybe you've disturbed some ropey wiring to the ECU.

Reminds me of my 1989 F-reg Sport, which rotted in the same places. Under that little patch on the passenger floorpan, you may find this:

Which leads to this, a hole through to the front inner arch:

My turd even had holes behind the rear numberplate!

The more and more I look at it, the more more and I think, 'Its not a chromie, frag the coont'

Gonna try and get the engine running right first and see how I feel. Not gonna bother switching the engine from the red breaker to it. I decided earlier than if I cant get the engine running right then it would be fragged. The red breakers engine has been stripped today so that wont ever be in use again...

I'll bet many Escort Mk1 owners thought that way a few years ago, and now bitterly regret weighing them in!

If there's a chance of saving it, do so - it can always be done as a rolling restoration, bit by bit as and when time/funds allow.

Weighing in the nail will make better example sports worth more if there's no more of this kind of example about. That's why the rescued escorts of the 70's are the best examples that were saved in time or looked after. There's no point here really. Cash in on your goods and remove the car from the dvla's list. Forget you ever owned it :)
