Don't know about brackets but you can get just the tips from Scorpion, I've 2 new ones here to replace my dtm tips. Is your middle section scorpion also? Mine must be a M3 middle section with scorpion tailpipe

Full M3 system with 50mm bores.

Not my first choice but it was so cheap I couldn't resist.

I'll be custom making tailpipes mate.

You will get away with just slash cutting those tailpipes off, M3 system pipes seem to stick out further than normal ones.
You wont find any brackets to fit as M3 has a single mount at the back, however i found some brackets/straps that do fit and iirc they were off a 320i. Ill check and post back up later. 8)

The tail pipes and daft support bracket will be cut off near the box.

I haven't decided what tailpipes to fit yet. I might just get Scorpian to send me some new lemans style ones yet. I have a daft idea about having some angled ones in the style of the Chromie 325 system. I'll have a think.

Lee any info on brackets would be great. I'm after stainless brackets if poss. 8)

You could use the single M3 hanger like Gareth did then weld some tabs on the subframe.

Nar mate subframe is powdercoated. I'll just see if Scorpian can supply me with the right size.

I'm going to ask them about tailpipes too. :D

Has he got pics of this somewhere? I have to do something about mine and I may as well do it before the rear beam goes for coating and the underside gets new underseal.

You just want a pic of an M3 rear beam.

They the two hangers on. I sold one to glen last year. I may have a pic.

I have a pic from a beam somewhere that I got of xworks, reckons it's easier to weld on some steel tube for the exhaust rubbers to hang of. It's more the single hanger thing between the pipe to see how it's meant to be fixed under the car, using this eliminates using straps in the original position then?

I'm just going to have 2 brackets on the backbox and cut the un needed one off the middle.

Basically hang it like a 325i system.

forklift damage from the M3 breaker it came from

I've had a look abut can't find any pics of my rear hanger... anyway I used the M3 hanger and made up a bracket that bolts onto the shell using the rear bumper mounting bolts you can see on the floor:
Image

Just a cut of 1.5" angle with the upper part of the M3 hanger welded on: the lower half is shown here still bolted to the back box.

Image

possible all a bit anal but i thought i'd use that rather than the strap type hangers :)

Bits are on realoem...

Had a quiet half hour at work so I made a bracket out of 2 I found in our stash.
Image
Then took the bulky support thingy off and angled the tailpipes.
Image
They may need trimming back but I'll do the rest on the car.
