well now it has gone for paint I can start on the oily bits
the engine in the origional green car was past it's sell by date with marks on the head and pistons and big scores down the bores
so a good known m20 b 2.5 was bought from a good freind (sweep) with a view to fitting a TD or ETA crank
but then.... I heard about a H27 that was breaking down near stafford

jumped in the van and 200 miles later this was purchased ...

there was no way of knowing for definate if it was a 2.7/stroker the car was un-drivable and we couldn't fire it up after vandal damage on the wiring so i took the chance and handed over the readies,
how glad I am that i did
the stroke is about 10mm longer than my B2.5
and it had this lurking in what seems to be a new head ?
an almost new Shrick cam
now should I go to Gaydon or stay home in the morning and whip the sump off ?
