Oh and getting this off the same seller

http://img707.imageshack.us/g/p1120094.jpg/

I am going to get bufty on the shell this week, Fit a new diff gasket as mine is leaking, Get my torch key cut ready for ews and get everything ready for the lump coming home.

The amount of rain that's falling up here I am glad my turd is at work. No more engine conversions on gravel for me I am fooking sick off them! winkeye

It's the little things that keep the enthusiasm up. Make the shell pretty, stand back and think "you know? all the blood sweat and tears ARE worth it after all".

I love the shell and even liked smoking the M10 around last winter. It won't be getting much action this winter though. Not with that donk in.

I can't decide to keep the 4 pots or fit the M3 5 stud and some bling wheels.
Also been having thought of S50/54 conversions but we will see what the M52B30's like first. 8)

I must get posting on there, seems a good resource! Could you pm me about the other sets you know of, depending on the damage to my wallet I might be interested. The lad I found in the us won't reply to my pm's, 150 dollars is all he wanted to

I have paid £340 for the S52 cams and a large bore throttle body including postage.

When they turn up at Dan's a week Wednesday I will send out the info to this guy. I don't want to send on info unless I know the guy to be sound. :D

The car was looking a bit grubby after 4 months of messing about with engine and running gear etc. Got busy with clay, G3, top glaze and bufty polish. I can't look at it. It's soooooo bright.

Happy with that.

I have been buying goodies from Cotswolds no pics though. I got a new injector cover, top rad hoses, torch key for ews chip storage and new diff seal.

Also finished and painted the custom exhaust system I made.

Balance pipe connects to the manifolds

It's made from an E36 system kindly donated by E30beemerlad. Obviously I only used the box and balance pipe. The pipe work is 54mm straight through. The tail pipe trims are from an e46.

I think I will be getting a full stainless made once the car is up and running. Doesn't look that bad now though :D

It is a bit of a lash up to be honest but it's a better size and flow than a E30 one.

Rav I have a local company that have a really good name in mind. I want it to be quiet until I open her up.

It's just high temp exhaust paint, nothing fancy.

Oh and 2 separate customers have asked me if it's just had a re spray this week. "how old is it?" "fooking he'll that mint!"

Put a smile on my face anyway.

Got some pic's off Yoda tonight.
As we are doing it properly this time, a complete strip down and acid clean to start with was in order. Then it was a light bore hone and a bit of paint. Now that is sexy!

M3 Scorpion system? I just got one the other day for mine, not stainless though.

I'd love to rebuild my engine but it just aint gonna happen!

Not taking a chance on this going bad by the look of it!
