The zones LOWEST cab!
Moderator: martauto
Baah, when you've a really low car you've to know how to drive it. Of course you can't drive it like a normal car, and there are some places where you just can't go. It's a thing one has to accept when lowering the car a lot.ItsAllAboutTheE30 wrote:Speedbumps p**s me off and mines on standard m-tech suspension. Some of these cabs do look very nice granted, but how you put up with driving them I don't know. Sy_325 very nice looking car, but I couldn't justify a drop that low. I'm guessing most of these aren't daily drivers.
Lots of nice cabrios on this thread. Here's mine, ~60mm clearance at the front lip, distance from center of wheel hub to wheel arch 280mm front, 290mm rear.

And one when she's dirty..

This topic has been boring from the start, it should be renamed
" show me your councilled up cab with no suspension and nasty wheels and i will show you mine "
Jonsku - I love it seriously (if you ever wanna sell it let me know mate).
That Cab you have is Super mate!! I wish I had my old one now, takes me back to the days of Reggae sounds, pioneer centrates and stick it in 'D' and cruise.......

Jonsku,
I can only echo what Goochie has written. That's a stunning rag top you've got there. The rims, the smoked Hella's and ride height combined make it a stunner.....
If that's a council motor you can call me Waynette, when I've saved up enough doll cheques I'm going to get me one of those.

Jonsku - I read your project topic, great work pal. My only gripe is the spoiler... I like them flush myself
But everyone to they're own. I love how low you have her too!! And your definately right, a heavily lowered car is a different driving experience and discipline.
Goochie - I'd say that wagon turned some heads back in the day, she musta been the sheeeeet! lovin the retro pics too!

I love these pictures too! they are my favourite ones. I know cruising then was all I was into, Drop the windows, roof down, Slam the reggae and saxon sounds.Sy_325 wrote:Jonsku - I read your project topic, great work pal. My only gripe is the spoiler... I just took this picture, now, my car looks beat up after a years drifting abuse but it must be the lowest car on the zone surely? If not I'm disappointed!

It's actually sat on the slightly raised area of concrete in the middle of my drive and sits about 5-10mm lower at the front when it's not. Yay
OK I give in though I'll have to leave it at about the pictured height to be able to drive down roads at all.
