There was me thinking there was a whole photo gallery section of the site just for this..

Me too! I must have misinterpreted it.

I can't be arsed to post links to my pictures again. For one thing, it's a waste of the forum's bandwidth.
If anyone's that bothered about seeing my E30, search through the gallery section for it.

Its not using up the zones bandwidth because everybody is hosting there own pictures!

It is using the 'Zone's bandwidth. Thread's use bandwidth. There's a perfectly good gallery section where most of these pictures have been posted before. So now we have a 6page (currently) thread which is little more than duplication - wasting bandwidth.

I run a web design/dev agency and can confirm that this thread actually uses LESS bandwidth than the gallery, as the images in the gallery are hosted on the e30zone.net server whereas the images in this thread are hosted elsewhere such as Photobucket and Imageshack.

Creating additional threads does not affect bandwidth in the slightest. 10 people accessing an old thread versus 10 people accessing a new thread use the exact same amount of bandwidth. Age of thread doesn't affect it at all.

You may be referring to hard drive storage space incorrectly as "bandwidth". It does indeed use more storage space to create a new thread however it's such a tiny amount that it's completely unnoticeable. However, this type of thread still uses less storage space than the gallery because of the aforementioned picture hosting arrangement.

Therefore you're still wrong in suggesting that this thread uses more bandwidth OR storage than the gallery, and the duplication issue is moot.

Its a drift in progress. As I develop drift skills I'll upgrade the car to suit. Its currently up on axle stands being treated to a -60mm drop. A hydraulic handbrake and hopefully some Tech II goodness will come soonish.

I'm spending as little as I can though, as its already picked a drift scar, plus I have another money pit which chokes me mostly. Its not a BMW, but hell, its my love so I want to show others...

Hi it looks like you've got 14"bbs alloys fitted to you ride that's why you have a gap and your front valance is missing(M-TECH)or you might have to lower it.

Thanks.I've got some 16" RXs lined up ,along with a trip to the body shop to get the body panels straightened and painted.I'm hoping to not have to lower the car ,as the roads here can get pretty rough.
I'm doing a full restoration on the car starting with the head gasket,rear main seals,clutch,blower motor and interior.Basically,this is a low mileage rust free German-spec car that was never imported to the US.So for about 1900 GBP,I think it will be worth it.
